General FAQ
General questions about our software
How long does it take to get Alfred running?
Alfred can get live in under two weeks after your first conversation. Our onboarding process works with your existing tools through secure API integrations. No custom builds, no disruption to your current workflows. Most teams are seeing their first insights within days of connecting their platforms.
What tools does Alfred connect to?
Alfred’s CMO module integrates with the platforms your team already uses. Check out the integrations page (link integration page here) to know more. We continue to expand our integrations. If you rely on a tool not on this list, reach out and we'll let you know where it sits on our roadmap.
Do I need my engineering or ops team to set this up?
No. Alfred connects via read-only API integrations that require no engineering lift. There are no scripts to write, no pipelines to configure, and no workflow disruptions. Your IT team may need to approve access credentials, but the setup process itself is handled entirely by Alfred's onboarding team.
How quickly will I see value?
Most teams receive their first actionable briefing within 48 to 72 hours of connecting their platforms. As Alfred builds historical context across your data, the depth of its insights increases. Measurable outcomes are typically visible within the first 30 days.
What happens during onboarding?
Alfred's team walks you through connecting your platforms, aligning on your key KPIs and business objectives, and configuring your daily briefing preferences. We also establish your approval workflows, defining which actions Alfred can surface for one-click execution and which require deeper review. The goal is a system that feels native to your leadership style from day one.
Can I start with one integration and add more later?
Absolutely. Many teams begin with their highest-priority platform and expand from there. Adding an integration later is straightforward and doesn't require a new onboarding cycle.
Can my team use Alfred or is it just for me?
Alfred is designed for your entire team team. Tems can access Alfred's intelligence within their areas of responsibility. Role-based access ensures each person sees the context relevant to their function.
Do I need to train my team to use it?
Minimal training is required. Alfred surfaces insights proactively. Your team doesn't need to learn a new interface or run complex queries. Alfred's team provides a short walkthrough during onboarding so everyone gets value from day one.
Can I share Alfred's output with my CEO or board?
Yes, and this is one of Alfred's most immediate benefits for CMOs. Alfred generates executive-grade briefings designed to be shared directly with the C-suite or board. Instead of spending hours preparing a status update, you can share Alfred's daily brief as a ready-made leadership communication.
Will Alfred work if my team doesn't adopt it?
Yes. Because Alfred connects directly to your existing platforms rather than requiring your team to use a new tool, it works in the background without depending on behavioral change across the organization. Your team keeps working in the tools they already use. Alfred observes, analyzes, and alerts you without requiring their active participation.
What if my CEO wants something similar for their view?
Alfred is built to scale across the entire C-suite. While the CMO module is purpose-built for marketing leadership, we are working on Alfred's intelligence layer to serve CEOs, CFOs, and other senior executives with cross-functional visibility, connecting marketing, sales, and operational signals into one unified view. Reach out to discuss how Alfred can be configured for your full leadership team.

Security questions
Security-related questions our customers ask the most
Where does my data live?
Alfred operates on secure, cloud-based infrastructure. Your data is accessed through read-only API connections to your existing platforms. All data handling follows enterprise-grade security protocols.
What data does Alfred store?
Alfred stores the performance data and metadata required to generate insights and build historical context from your connected platforms. Alfred does not store raw customer personal data. All stored data is encrypted and access is fully traceable.
Who on my team can see what?
Alfred supports role-based access controls. You can define which team members access the full intelligence layer versus specific modules or channels. Leadership-level, team-level, and channel-specific views can all be configured independently.
Can Alfred take actions in my ad platforms, or is it read-only?
Alfred is read only but has a function to act on command. All write-back actions require your explicit approval before execution. When Alfred surfaces a recommendation, you approve it with a single click, and only then does it execute the change. Nothing acts without authorization. Every action is fully traceable.
What happens if I disconnect a tool?
Alfred will notify you and pause insights related to that data source. Historical data already analyzed remains accessible.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Alfred's insights, briefings, and recommendations can be exported for board reporting, stakeholder sharing, or internal documentation.
How does Alfred handle attribution differences across platforms?
Attribution discrepancies are one of the most persistent challenges in marketing analytics. Alfred addresses this by creating a unified data layer that aligns attribution models across your connected platforms and surfaces discrepancies as part of its analysis. Rather than hiding the conflict, Alfred helps you make decisions grounded in a reconciled view of performance.
Product questions
Product-related questions our customers ask the most
Is Alfred a dashboard?
No. Alfred is a decision intelligence system, not a dashboard. Dashboards display data and wait for you to find the problem. Alfred actively monitors your stack around the clock, identifies issues and opportunities as they emerge, and delivers clear recommendations on what to do next. The difference is the shift from passive visibility to proactive guidance.
How is Alfred different from my BI tool?
BI tools require you to log in, build a query, and interpret the output. On the other hand, Alfred continuously reasons across your data and comes to you with what matters, before you know to ask. Where a BI tool shows you what happened, Alfred tells you what is happening, why it's happening, and what action to take and can execute it if you want.
How is Alfred different from HubSpot's AI or Salesforce Agentforce?
HubSpot's AI and Salesforce Agentforce are designed to optimize workflows within their own platforms. They're powerful but native to a single system. Alfred sits above your entire stack, correlating signals across your tools simultaneously. No single-platform AI can offer that cross-channel view.
How is Alfred different from ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot?
ChatGPT and Copilot are general-purpose AI assistants that respond to what you bring to them. Alfred is purpose-built for CXOs decision-making and connected directly to your live business data. It doesn't wait to be asked. It proactively monitors your tools and delivers recommendations tied to your function.
What kinds of questions can I ask Alfred?
Alfred is built to answer the questions leaders ask most. Our CMO module can answer questions like: What changed in performance this week and why? Where is budget being wasted? What's driving this CPA spike? Which creatives are showing fatigue? Alfred answers over 85% of these questions without analyst involvement, in real time.
Does Alfred replace my marketing analyst?
No, it frees them from work that shouldn't require them in the first place. Pulling reports, reconciling data across platforms, and monitoring dashboards for anomalies are time-intensive tasks that don't require human judgment. Alfred handles these continuously, so your analyst can focus on strategy, experimentation, and creative work that actually demands their expertise.
How does Alfred know my business?
Alfred learns through the data it ingests from your connected platforms. During onboarding, you configure your core KPIs, performance benchmarks, and business priorities. Alfred uses this context to filter noise and surface only what'srelevant to your objectives. Over time, as it observes your performance patterns, its intelligence becomes increasingly tailored to your specific marketing ecosystem.
Can I customise the daily brief?
No. The goal is a morning update that reflects your leadership function. So it’s specified to your work and industry.
How often does Alfred update?
Alfred monitors your connected platforms continuously, 24/7. Performance alerts are triggered in real time as anomalies are detected. Your daily briefing consolidates key developments from the previous 24 hours, but critical alerts are delivered immediately when conditions warrant it. You can customize Alfred to get updates in real time, hourly or daily.
